Mermaid's Makeup Must-haves (Budget friendly!)

Spending a lot of time under the sea has given me the opportunity to try out different products, as well as deduce which ones I absolutely adore, taking me from floppy blobfish to sea siren in just a few steps. These budget-friendly items are some of the products that no K-Beauty lover should ever go without (myself included) if you wanna go from drab to fab!

Elizavecca Skin Liar Primer
Even if you’re under the sea, you still gotta keep your skin looking good, hun! A flawless foundation routine starts off with smooth, primed skin. The Skin Liar Primer is a silky translucent base that evens out pores and fine lines without being too slick or greasy on the skin. I love how it keeps oil at bay while still keeping your complexion hydrated for perfect application every time.

Nature Republic Botanical Concealer
If you’re looking for full coverage without any stickiness, then you’ll want to try this concealer. It applies on creamy and blends out for a flawless finish without caking up or creasing throughout the day. I’m also convinced that this is (mostly) water-resistant, and doesn’t smudge away even after a long day, and this feels really nice and light on the skin. It’ll feel like you’re not wearing any makeup at all!

COC Eye Contact Single Eye Shadow
Pigmented and in gorgeous neutral hues, these shadows are perfect for everyday wear. In satin and matte formulas, these colours are pigmented and blend easily on their own or together. Okay, to be fair they don’t really stay on under water, but I still gotta look fabulous up on land, right? Plus, these warmish colours are super on trend right now!

Tony Moly Delight Tony Tint
I’m one for full lipped looks, especially when they last all day (perfect for wooing land princes or gorgeous mermen). This tint is pigmented and doesn’t dry out your lips, making it perfect to throw in your bag whenever you need a nice flush to your look. For a monochromatic look, dot these on your cheeks too for a blush that’ll last and compliment your lips.

Missha The Style 4D Mascara

Waterproof properties are essential with this one! After all, the last thing you want is to emerge from the sea with panda eyes right? This mascara has a straight wand with fiber bristles that make it easy to reach all those nook and crannies, while providing length and volume to your lashes. The brush also makes it easy to separate the lashes so you don’t have to worry about unflattering clumps. A definite must even for lazy days.

Abbamart Shy Smile Blusher

Being in these cold waters all the time can wreak havoc on the colour of one’s complexion. These matte blushes are gorgeous and glide onto the skin without leaving it in a powdery mess. My favorite shade is Lavender Garden: a unique lilac shade that, while it may look shocking in the pan, blends onto the skin for a flush worthy of a fairy. The chic packaging is also a must-have in my books!

And there you have it! Now that you know what are my favorites from Althea, be sure to go get them for yourself. Have you tried out any of these products? What are your cheap must-haves from Althea? Let me know in the comments down below!
