Read on to find out how she became a huge K-beauty lover with Althea since December 2016!
1) Hey, Renee! Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you became interested in K-beauty.
Hello, my name is Renee Alexis. I am a blogger from the Philippines who loves books, food, and adventure. I came across a friend's post in Instagram sharing her haul from Althea and I was instantly curious about it because the things she bought were super cute! I opened Althea's website and was immediately engrossed by all the wonderful things I saw with my eyes.
From that day on, I would always go to Althea's website to go through what must have been hundreds of pages about all the new products I was seeing. What enticed me more were the lovely curated boxes they had back then that comes with a really great price! I would then go to YouTube to search for more info and video reviews on those products. Until finally after just days of browsing Althea's website and watching YouTube videos, I hauled so many products that I received 4 Let it Snow boxes after Christmas!
That was how I jump-started my K-beauty journey. Through Althea's blog and social media sites, I got to know new products. Through YouTube and K-beauty enthusiasts, I developed a new love and obsession that to this day, I am still very much addicted to. My skin has been through the worst breakout and Korean products have really helped me get past them. I got most of my products from Althea and if I hadn't discovered Althea, I think I wouldn't be into K-beauty this much.
2) In your most honest opinion, tell us what really makes Althea special.
Althea fuels my love for K-beauty. This is the site where I can get authentic products to satisfy my K-beauty craving with reasonable prices and free shipping(!!!). And let's face it, that's what we all look for when we shop for practicality's sake, haha!
Special mention to Althea's curated boxes, they were what I really spend my money on because I've discovered products I got to love by not spending a fortune. Those boxes allowed me to discover and try out new products that I wouldn't even think of purchasing. Oh, how I miss those kinds of boxes...
Another factor I love about Althea and its team is that they appreciate the effort their customers put into the unboxing and review blog/vlog posts they do by recognizing them. I'm just a small-time blogger and sharing my posts in your Facebook page really, really means a lot to me, so thank you so much for that.
Althea differs from other K-beauty sites because they value their customers. They interact with us, whether it's through replying to Facebook comments and messages or engaging on Instagram by liking tagged photos and viewing tagged stories. And also, I just have to say that I enjoy watching every time Eros and Sydney do Althea's IG stories, they have a special place in my heart. ^_^

Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel
This is my favorite soothing gel slash moisturizer of all time. It is that good!
Etude House Soon Jung PH 5.5 Relief Toner
Hands down one of my favorite gentle toners to soothe irritated and sensitive skin!
Son & Park Beauty Water
I love how this product can be used as a cleansing water, a toner, and a refreshing mist. I love its scent and how it contains skin-loving ingredients that don't irritate my acne-prone skin at all!
Nacific Fresh Herb Origin Serum
Loving this one because it contains vitamin C and other antioxidants. I love how its an oil and an essence in one!
Bare Essentials Fixer Cream
Such a rich cream that does wonders to my skin! The moisturizing and plumping effects it does to my skin is priceless, I love this product!

I love her! I can relate so much. I love Korean beauty products too and I have I no idea how to purchase some of the products I saw online since not all of them are available here in the Philippines. I discover Althea when I was browsing my instagram and since then I always refer it to my friends and workmates so I can have a buddy to share my personal favorite products. My skin never been this smooth and clear and its all thanks to Althea. I get to try a lot of product that suits me perfectly. I also love their pink box, whenever I received my order I can't help but to smile from ear to ear. I can't imagine life without Althea ❤
