RiRe Luxe Matte Lipsticks

Did somebody say lipsticks? We’re all ears (and lips). RiRe has recently launched some new lippies and they’ve landed on Althea shores! Best known for their Lip Powder (the real innovative OG) and bestselling Lip Manicures, RiRe proudly shows off their infamous, sleek black packaging that houses quality products to embody confidence and encourage experimentation when it comes to makeup and beauty. They were lovely enough to send over some of their Luxe Matte Lipsticks, and we couldn’t wait to try them out! 

RiRe’s Luxe Matte Lipstickscome in the conventional twist-up bullet style that allows for an even application on the lips. These lipsticks are creamy upon first swipe and aren’t patchy at all, so they are opaque with one layer. They have a matte finish, however they aren’t transferproof and can smudge away if rubbed. The pigmentation is fantastic, and the colour selection have a few unique shades you don’t really see in K-Beauty lippies too. These matte lipsticks also do not feel too drying or tight on the lips, making this a winner with a chic matte finish. Now, onto the swatches!

A coral shade that leans more onto the pink side. Great if you’re going for a sweet look

03 Dusty Rose

A rosey hue that has muted red tones.

A pinky chocolate shade that’s perfect for adding an edge to your everyday look.

A bold warm pink that will help to brighten up your complexion.

06 Bloody Red

A classic blue-based red that knows how to make a statement, fantastic for special occasions.

As you can see from the swatches above, these lipsticks are really, REALLY matte and they do stay that way all day. If the formula of these are too drying for you, be sure to exfoliate away any dead skin and pop on a lip balm prior to wearing these. They do wear on for a long time, however if you're going to be out all day and night, it'd be best to bring the shade you're wearing to touch up throughout the day as they aren't transfer-proof.
