Althea x The Butterfly Project Christmas Party

Last December, to really celebrate the most wonderful time of the year, we threw an amazing party in Althealand! We found ourselves at Chubbee Cloud, one of Kuala Lumpur’s cutest avenues for fun, food and festivities, and in collaboration with The Butterfly Project, have been able to spend some time with Malaysian beauty enthusiasts and showcase our latest Althea Exclusive offerings. Here’s how it all went down!

The Butterfly Project is Malaysia’s leading beauty and lifestyle blogger community. Founded by Tammy Lim, this community of gorgeous people are filled with passion and thrive to create good content, disseminating useful and fun information to their readers. Following the community’s tagline of “Beauty From Head To Toe”, these lovely bloggers weren’t just pretty to look at, they were really nice and brought great vibes to the party too!

Stepping into the party, everything look super fun and cute thanks to our party vendors! Chubbee Cloud made sure all our guests were kept comfortable with plenty of Instagrammable spots, and served us some delicious snacks. There was a selection of kimchi sandwiches for the savory, and for the sweet, something extra special: boba sandwiches!

Speaking of photos, Tagbooth had set up a booth with props to make sure we had some pictures to take home as souvenirs! Tagbooth is Malaysia’s first sticker photo booth that allows you to edit the pictures after they’re taken, so you can decorate your pictures with their custom made stickers before printing your photos out. They were even printed out on custom made sheets that had a similar design to Althea's limited edition Christmas box at that time! The results are gorgeous photos of the Butterflies that make the most unique memories. Check them out below:

Such pretty cakes!

It wouldn’t be a party without some sweets, and AskJoey really came through with some gorgeous desserts! She prepared a table full of pastel themed cakes, sweets and other yummy things that were perfectly matched to the party’s pink theme to ensure we all went home with happy bellies that day. 

Winner, winner!

We had an Althea Game Machine that gave the Butterflies a chance to walk away with some prizes from Althea, be it credits to shop or some exclusive products to bring home. They also had some sneak peak excess to our latest Flawless Creamy Concealers, giving them the chance to try them out and see the product in person! 

To celebrate the amazing looks that everyone came with on that day, we had a contest and awarded the best-dressed Butterfly with some amazing K-beauty goodies so she can pamper herself! Just when we thought things couldn’t get any better, Chubbee Cloud presented everyone with custom-made marshmallows printed with Althea’s logo and their photos. These were delightfully fluffy and sweet, such a joy to eat, what a way to end the event!
