Everyone, their mothers and sisters have fallen in love with the K-beauty cushion! Ergonimic and convenient, these pods of wonder have made their way into our dressers, purses and our hearts too. Daily Skin is one of Althealand's latest offerings, and we've previously tried out their Strawberry Milk Soap. This week, we'll be playing with their famous Berry-Very Matte Cover Foundation!

The Berry-Very Matte Cover Foundation is a sebum-controlling foundation cushion that offers coverage and a radiant, fresh look. Infused with real strawberry extracts, this cushion's formula is rich in vitamin C to brighten, while aloe vera, honey and green tea extracts help to soothe and keep the skin hydrated. We put it to the test on our latest duckling (you'll see how much of a beaut she is in a bit) to see how this product fared!
Can you get over the adorable packaging? We certainly can't! The Berry-Very Matte Cover Foundation has a resin encased design featuring the product's strawberry mascot, and comes in a bright pink shade that'll brighten anyone's day. The cushion itself itsn't your conventional sponge: it has a tension netting that allows the product to be dispensed easily onto the puff without needing to worry about excess product. There are two shades available (#21 for lighter skintones and #23 for a natural look), so pick one that best suits your needs. Our duckling is pretty fair, so #21 was perfect for her.
Upon application, the formula feels really lightweight on the skin. The coverage is medium, buildable to full, and blends out easily with the velvety puff provided. Perfect for oilier skin types, this cushion feels just slightly creamy and dries down to a powder finish, giving the skin a bright, fresh look. If you've got drier skin and would still like to try this out, make sure you exfoliate and moisturize thoroughly before applying it on to avoid dry patches throughout the day. The best part about this cushion is definitely the scent: it's got a slightly sweet, strawberry scent to it that makes it really fun to apply! This product also comes with an SPF of 30 and PA ++, so it'll keep your skin looking great and protected too.
This cushion fared great, and it's perfect for popping into your purse for touch-ups on the go too if you're in a humid climate or an extra oily gal.
