Hot, hot, hot! Summertime is here, and while our skin desperately needs the hydration, the idea of being an oil slick by midday in the humidity and heat is enough to break us out in a sweat. While nobody is fond of having excessively greasy skin, trying to mop up oil with and blotting papers can cause dehydration, while applying on layers and layers of powder can lead to cakey, unsightly skin. That’s why we knew we had to try out Torriden’s Banchic Oil Control Powder Mist!
Torriden is a brand that’s known for using key ingredients, harnessing their goodness and putting them into products that are specifically targeted for specific skin needs. Treating skin sensitivities and irritations are their specialty, and the Banchic Oil Control Powder Mist is no exception! This handy product claims to mattify the skin and remove shine in just 10 seconds, making it a definite must-have especially when it’s hot and humid out.
Don’t be fooled by the compact size of this bottle, it knows how to pack a punch! Made with ingredients like Centella Asiatica, tea tree and chamomile extract, the Banchic Oil Control Powder Mist soothes redness and ensures it stays hydrated while a super finely-milled powder with micro-particles zap the excess oil away. Here’s how to use one of our summer must-haves:
- Shake well
- Hold the product about 30cm away from the face
- Spritz evenly onto the skin and wait 10 seconds
- Ta-da! Matte, shine-free skin!
The mist itself is really fine and spritzes onto the skin in an even layer, and almost instantly mattifies the skin. It has a very faint minty scent that when coupled with the mist, feels very refreshing. It really does feel like magic seeing your skin become matte right before your eyes! For our Pixie Syahira who has really oily skin, this is perfect for keeping it under control throughout the day. Check out our live demo video on her down below!
Doesn't she look nice and fresh after that? We love how instant the Torriden's Banchic Oil Control Powder Mist is! You can find this and other cool oil-control products on Althea's site.
